Limavady United’s Strengthening Squad
Limavady United is making its mark on the Irish League by adding experienced players to its squad. The latest addition is Stephen O’Donnell, a 33-year-old centre-back who has signed from Ballymena United.
O’Donnell's arrival is seen as a significant boost for Limavady’s young and developing team. Paul Owens, the club’s boss, expressed his excitement about the signing in an official statement: “He is one of the most experienced defenders in the league. Having worked with Stevie before, I know exactly the qualities he can bring to the team. His leadership will be a huge asset for our young squad as we begin life in the Premiership.”
Limavady has been bolstering its squad by signing another former Ballymena player, 29-year-old Aaron Jarvis, who also adds valuable experience and depth to their lineup.
Annagh United’s Offensive Boost
In a separate development, Annagh United has strengthened its goal-scoring options with the signing of Henry Cromack. The 22-year-old striker is known for his prolific scoring record, having netted 33 goals in the previous season while playing for Dollingstown in the Premier Intermediate League.
Annagh’s move comes as they look to improve their chances of promotion to the Premiership after narrowly missing out last season with a play-off defeat against Crusaders. This marks Annagh's fourth attempt at promotion under boss Ciaran McGurgan, who continues to face challenges despite his efforts.
