Ballymena United has strengthened its squad by signing defender Micheal Glynn following the expiration of his contract at Cliftonville. The 24-year-old player, who has made 75 appearances and scored four goals during his two years with the Reds, is looking to contribute to Ballymena's ambitions for the upcoming season. Glynn, a former Northern Ireland under-21 international, has previously played for Dungannon Swifts, Glenavon, and Larne, where he won two Irish Premiership titles. He expressed excitement about joining the Sky Blues, stating that he aims to help the team push for European qualification. Manager Oran Kearney emphasized the importance of having competition in every position, noting that Glynn's experience will be valuable as the club seeks to build a strong squad. Glynn is the second summer signing for Ballymena United, following the arrival of striker Chris McKee from Linfield earlier this week. The club is focused on enhancing its roster to challenge for trophies and improve its standing in the league.
